Connecting Research to Practice: Increasing Graduation Rates by Creating a System of Supports Summit Handouts and Materials

August 11, 2010 was a full-day conference designed to engage state, district, and school leaders, school staff, and community organizations in a conversation on research about dropout prevention and the connection between research and recommendations for practices in this area. The event was held in collaboration with the Great Lakes East Comprehensive Center, Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators, Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals, Michigan's Children, Michigan Department of Education, and State Farm Insurance. Featured presenters included Nettie Legters, Ph.D., and Martha Abele Mac Iver, Ph.D.
